CD/DVD Replication

Mastering

Mastering is the very last step in production before it heads off to manufacturing.
Our mastering engineers will screen your supplied master and, at your request, remaster it to produce the hottest, best sounding product possible without compromising the integrity of your original material. Please refer to our CD mastering or DVD authoring pages for more specific info.

If you are satisfied with the quality of your material and see no reason for enhancement, or have already had it mastered, then you can supply us with a replication ready master in the proper format:
Audio: A CDR in CD audio format (16 bit/44.1 kHz),
burned as a DAO (disk-at-once).
Also known as Red Book.
Enhanced Audio: A CDR with two sessions- the first of which MUST be audio as above. The second session contains data such as graphics, lyrics, video, etc. to be viewed on a computer.
Also known as Blue Book.
CD-ROM:  A CDR correctly formatted for compatability with the platform(s) and operating system(s) that it is intended to be used on (Windows/Mac/Unix/universal/NT/XP/OSX,etc.).
Also known as Yellow Book.
DVD Video: A DVD-R or a DVD+R containing a properly formatted Video_TS folder (all assets adhering to DVD specifications).
DVD ROM: A DVD-R or a DVD+R correctly formatted for the platform(s) it is to be used for.
A disc from a previous pressing may also be supplied as a master.
All masters need to be FINALIZED.
CDRWs and DVDRWs are not suitable for replication masters.
We will also need an accurate printout of the track listing-
with file names, lengths, artist(s), etc.

REPLICATION and PACKAGING>
Replication prices include glass master, stampers and up to 3 color silkscreen or 4 color process printing on the CD or DVD.  Turnaround time is usually 10 working days from the time we send the master and files or films to the pressing plant to the time we receive the discs back.  Quicker turnaround is certainly possible (rush charges amy apply). Allow an additional 2-4 days for assembling and packaging. See elsewhere in this website for CD templates and printing, DVD templates and printing, and for packages.
Copyright Info
In order to comply with the RIAA, and insure that the proper copyright holders get their royalties, we require proof of ownership, and/or licensing of your recording,. You must sign an IPR agreement and indemnity form for A to Z Audio to process your order (available for download HERE). If we are replicating DVDs, then a Source Master form must also be submitted (available for download HERE).

NOTE: Replication amounts are ±5%.
You will be billed for the exact amount pressed.
